Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 1, 2026
TL;DR: Deadzone collects absolutely no personal data. Your conversations, questions, and device information never leave your phone.
1Overview
Deadzone is an offline, on-device AI application. Our privacy model is simple: we collect nothing. There are no servers that receive your data, no analytics pipelines, and no user accounts.
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle (or rather, don't handle) your information when you use the Deadzone app.
2Information We Collect
We collect no personal information whatsoever. Deadzone does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share:
• Your name, email address, or any identifying information
• Your chat conversations or messages
• Your device location
• Your device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, etc.)
• Usage statistics or analytics
• Crash reports tied to your identity
• Any behavioral or diagnostic data
The app functions entirely on your device. All AI inference, all conversation history, and all settings remain local to your phone.
3On-Device AI Processing
Deadzone uses on-device AI models to answer your questions. This means:
• All processing happens locally on your iPhone
• Your messages are never sent to any external server or API
• The AI models (Llama, Qwen, or Apple Intelligence) run entirely on your device
• Conversations are not logged, stored remotely, or accessible to anyone other than you
When you use Apple Intelligence (iOS 26+), your queries are processed by Apple's on-device model framework. Please refer to Apple's privacy documentation for details on how Apple handles on-device model inference. In all cases, Deadzone itself sends nothing to our servers.
4Subscriptions & Payments
Deadzone Pro subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat's SDK to verify subscription status on-device.
RevenueCat may collect anonymized subscription analytics. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy for details on their data practices. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
5Model Downloads
When you download a Llama model, the model file is fetched from a content delivery network and stored locally on your device. The download request includes standard HTTP headers (such as your IP address) visible to the CDN provider. Once downloaded, the model operates entirely offline. We do not track which models you download or how often you use them.
6Children's Privacy
Deadzone is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because we collect no data at all, there is nothing child-specific to address beyond this general statement. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will investigate.
7Third-Party Services
Deadzone integrates the following third-party SDKs:
• RevenueCat — subscription management. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Apple Intelligence — on-device model inference (iOS 26+). Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
We do not integrate advertising SDKs, third-party analytics, crash reporting services, or social media tracking pixels.
8Data Security
Because we collect no data and transmit nothing to external servers, there is no remote data store that could be breached. Your conversation history and settings are protected by iOS's standard sandboxed file storage, which is encrypted at rest on modern Apple devices.
9Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Deadzone after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
